#5 There are a bunch of ghosts living there
Having ghosts living in your home is one of the first indicators that your house may be haunted. No one knows why, but spirits have always been attracted to haunted homes worldwide. Luckily there are a lot of at-home products you can use to trap and eliminate ghosts from your home with ease. Just be sure it’s a ghost and not just your roommate wearing a bedsheet. It happens more than you’d think…
#4 You find Google searches for Crypt-O-Currency on your computer
In the after-life, cryptocurrency is as hot as it is here in the world of the living. Crypt-O-Currency is their market leader, and any financially savvy spirit will be following it closely. Plus, they famously love bad puns. A quick check of your Google history could be an easy way of detecting your paranormal roommate.
#3 Your child keeps trying to murder you while you sleep
One way evil spirits like to express themselves is by possessing your children. Sometimes it’s just to deliver some dumb dramatic warning, but most of the time, it’s to murder you. If you awaken to your toddler hovering over you with a knife, it’s a red flag that you may be living in a haunted house. My wife and I prefer to keep our children securely locked in their rooms, like inmates in solitary confinement. It may seem harsh, but it’s what’s safest for everyone.
#2 Your house bleeds
Have you ever been in the shower when suddenly the water turns into blood? Have you ever tried putting a nail into your wall, only to have blood pouring out of the puncture? Do you find pools of blood in your basement when it rains? Well, if you have, then your house is probably haunted. While there isn’t a fix for this problem, there are an array of blood cleaning items that you can keep around the house. It is also good to package and preserve it when possible, as you can never have too much blood around.
#1 Your kids’ toys come to life
This one is a real son of a bitch, and it only happens in haunted homes. While the toys are usually small and weak, the fear they inspire makes this a stressful occurrence in every haunted house. My wife and I were our daughter’s toy lamb that first came to life. Fortunately, the toy didn’t have fingers, toes, or teeth, so it was easy to wrangle and throw into the fire. As with all possessed toys, remember to use fire when destroying them.
